The intent of this project was to transition Madigan Army Medical Center labor and delivery into a current delivery model for health care services by implementing a labor-delivery-recovery model of care.
The project consisted of remodeling approximately 5,200 sqft of existing space on the 3rd floor of Madigan Army Medical Center located on Fort Lewis, WA. The final project contained six LDR rooms and an antepartum room.
Work included demolition, new interior walls, ceilings, flooring, casework, renovation or existing HVAC, new plumbing, medical gas, vacuum, and electrical. The work was completed in a fully-functional hospital setting. Pease & Sons, Inc. served as both the Mechanical and General Contractor on this project.
